When these two very sweet friends, who I adore, reached out to share they were engaged and looking for a wedding photographer, I was over the moon excited! They have spent the last few years rebuilding a home from the foundation up and are pros at bringing magic to things, their wedding day was no exception. Hilary scored her wedding dress for five dollars at a Salvation Army store a few years back knowing that someday they would tie the knot. No worries, it was all a part of their plan, and the dress fit her like a glove! They got married in Barrett Hall, which is right next door to their home and we took pictures in the field and stream behind their house, making it truly a backyard wedding for them. Hilary designed all the florals because she is the magical flower lady that everyone loves in town with her floral CSA Cloca Mora Floral. Hilary’s mom made a beautiful three-layer cake that I have to say was absolutely delicious. I’m not a huge fan of cakes but if they all tasted like that I would be. The ceremony was conducted by a Justice of the Peace, aka, Vince Robinson. Hilary worked with the fabulous Denise Perkins at Planet Hair for her updo. It was amazing to photograph their wedding and work with local vendors that are also friends and members of our community.
Hilary and Welly, it was an honor to photograph your day and I can’t wait to see this new chapter of your lives!

Amy,
I loved the introduction, such a nice touch.
The photos are beautiful. Great composition and light. You included everything that made Hilary & Welly’s wedding day so special.
It was nice meeting you, Denise and Vince.
Thank you for a great collection of memories.
Thanks Lana! It was an honor to be there and document this sweet ceremony. It was so nice meeting you and being a part of their day.
Amy, thanks for your wonderful creative work! Welly’s sister says it’s nearly impossible to make him look “romantic”, but I think you did a great job sharing everything that made the day so special! Thanks.
Trust me, it was not impossible, in fact quite easy. Such a beautiful couple and was over the moon to be asked to photograph it! Thanks for the kind words.
