Hey there! I’m delighted you’re here! I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in Strafford, Vermont serving all of New England and beyond.

I’m a southern girl who moved to Vermont in 2007 with my family and fell in love with its beauty and people. I love the majestic landscape and the inspiration it brings to my photography. Most of the time you can find me running along Vermont’s roads, gardening, camping and hiking or spending time with family and friends.

My photography journey started by photographing my kids growing up among Vermont’s landscape. In 2013 I realized that I could photograph clients among Vermont’s beautiful landscape, so I opened Amy Donohue Photography. During that same year, I started documenting my family and our adventures exploring by doing a 365 project. That project lasted a bit over three years and brought the most growth to my photography journey as well as images that I will cherish forever. See images from that project here.

Sipping chartreuse and green tea while looking at the most perfect white subway tile and hand painted signs. Driving through the mountains to Portland reminiscing about the best memories back home. Cozy sweaters, vintage demin, and Pabst while telling one of a kind love stories. The trials and tribulations of love, joy, and happiness. Lastly, champagne brunch and avocado toast while surrounded by the finest exposed brick, dreamcatchers, and maps to our souls. Dreamcatchers, macrame and 100 Days of Summer. Anthropologie trips and walks on the beach, love letters and secret admirers. Fall breeze, flannels, and hot cocoa. Whales and dinosaurs and handmade crafts. Salvage denim, antique leather bags, and the first time we watched Moonrise Kingdom.
