Like many couples, Alex and David postponed their wedding last year and seeing their wedding come together last weekend was a dream. Everything came together so beautifully. We did have some rain, actually, more like a downpour, as you will see during the wedding party portraits but we just rolled with it and everything turnout out to be just fine. I believe one of the groomsmen said it would be artistic which I’m going to roll with. I’ve included those images because I think it is a great metaphor to remind us that you can’t have rainbows without a little bit of rain. And a rainbow they had but brief and ever-fleeting rainbow which I was unable to capture with my camera but I think it made their day memorable. Just a reminder that you can’t control the weather on your wedding day but you can make the best of it, embrace it and know that it was all meant to be a part of your story.
Thank you Alex and David for picking me to capture your day. It was an absolute honor and joy to be there. I hope you treasure these photos forever.
