Kaitlyn + Brandt | Woodstock Engagement

Vermont Engagement Photographer

It’s been a while since I’ve posted in this space, but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy with photography. Life just got a little too busy the past three years building a home, moving five times during the process because of a shortage of rentals and delayed building timeline, starting a real estate job that was supposed to be part-time which turned full-time due to the market activity, and still being a mom and wife. It seemed appropriate to let blogging and social media take the back burner. 2023 has been a year of restoring balance by only saying yes to things that bring me joy, which has meant a lot of saying no. While I still have past weddings and sessions to blog and share here, I thought I’d start with this wonderful couple who are my first clients for 2024 as I start to book weddings again. I am only saying yes to a handful of couples going forward as I want to provide them with the attention they deserve, and I could not be any luckier that this couple said yes to me.

We couldn’t have had better weather for their session. While overcast is easy to photograph in because of the even light, we got lucky on the mountaintop when the sun dipped down under the cloud coverage before setting to get some amazing light for sunset photos.

Kaitlyn and Brandt, thank you for choosing me to be your wedding photographer!! I cannot wait for your day to get here!!!
