Alexis + Darren | Stratton Mountain Resort Destination Wedding
Alexis and Darren, two avid outdoor enthusiasts, knew, once engaged, that they wanted to get married on top of a mountain. The two are avid skiers and snowboarders and thought Stratton Mountain Resort provided the perfect destination wedding location. This mountainside retreat is surrounded with breathtaking views of the Green Mountains where the couple said their nuptials at the summit.
Alexis wore a stunning gown from VIP Fashions in Philadelphia, PA and had pieces of her mothers and grandmothers wedding dress sewn into hers. She also tied buttons around her bouquet with significant meaning. Her bridesmaids wore beautiful merlot dresses and the groomsmen went with gray suits. Florals by Flower Power Vermont Farm provided the perfect pop of autumn colors. The couple has a love for craft beer and used growlers from various Vermont brewing companies as vases. They also used various ski mountain resorts for their seating chart. The couple chose not to have a first look but instead, Alexis wanted one with her father before riding the gondola up to the summit with him. A champagne toast with her girls was the perfect way to celebrate.
Alexis and Darren, thank you for choosing me to document your special day. I hope these photos make you smile at all the memories and the good time you had on your wedding day! Wishing you both many years of happiness!
