Ran and Sean love mountains, water and hiking, three of my favorite things too. When they requested Mount Peg in Woodstock, Vermont as the location for their engagement session, I was both excited and uncertain as I wasn’t familiar with the area wasn’t sure what kind of light to expect but I love discovering new places to shoot. Light in the woods isn’t always the best quality of light for portraits but as we neared the top, the early morning fog made for a magical setting for their engagement session. We met at 6 am, which meant getting up at 4:30 but it was totally worth it. Anyone else up for an early morning hike to soak in the earth at this hour and take advantage of having the mountain mostly to your selves for some gorgeous portraits? Reach out, I’m your girl.
