Margo and Michael have one romantic love story. Five years ago their relationship took off (literally) from Laguardia’s runway 31 in a Bombardier CRJ-900, banked a hard left over Manhattan and took aim at Regional Southwest Florida International Airport. Inside that tiny pressurized tube, they had no idea who each other were, that they worked at the same company for over a year, that their worlds were about to collide and they were about to immediately become best friends, eventually become a couple and four years later agree to tie the knot…
The couple truly loves to travel and decided to incorporate their love of travel into their wedding with guest escort cards. The couple saved wine corks from drinks with family and friends since their engagement to use as escort card holders so guests could find their seats. The couple has also lived over the course of their combined lives in a number of countries so they used those countries as table names to assist guests to their seats. The couple even danced to Come Fly With Me by Frank Sinatra for their first dance.
Margo envisioned a lush garden party with metallic accents and personal touches throughout. In addition to the saved wine corks, Michael’s sister hand-painted the watercolor wedding monogram for their wedding invitations while his father made the copper arbor. I love that Margo had her sisters, mom, and dad be a part of her getting ready by buttoning a button. Their day was full of classic and timeless elegance throughout. Big congrats Margo and Michael and best of luck as you start this new chapter in your lives!
