Lyme New Hampshire Wedding Photographer | Margaret & Silas

Sometimes, I find it interesting how couples find me and this couple is no exception. Margaret’s mother asked me if I’d do an impromptu mini-engagement shoot of Margaret and Silas at Margaret’s grandfather’s 80th birthday celebration which I was happy to oblige. I was surprised at how quickly we were able to get some amazing images in such a short amount of time and from there, they asked me if I’d photograph their wedding. Sometimes you just never know where you’re going to find your next client. They are the kindest and most laid back couple who wanted nothing but ease and their closest friends and family near them for their big day. With Margaret growing up in the Upper Valley and both of them attending Dartmouth, they knew Lyme, NH would be the perfect place to invite everyone to celebrate with them. The couple’s ceremony was at the Lyme Congregational Church followed by a reception at Dowd’s Country Inn and Event Center.

The couple found the perfect stationery at Minted to represent their love of the mountains and asked both their brothers to be the wedding party standing beside them as they exchanged their vows. It was a beautiful day with many friends and family taking place in an intimate but fun celebration. I wish both of them many years of happiness and success!
