Megan and Ryan are college sweethearts and childhood neighbors from Massachusettes planning their destination Vermont wedding at Hildene, The Lincoln Family Home in Manchester, Vermont. Their wedding isn’t until the spring of 2019 but they wanted to have plenty of time to plan their dream wedding. We lucked out with such beautiful weather at a gorgeous location in Manchester, Vermont, a destination everyone should visit if they haven’t already. The area has no shortage of things to do and sites to see making it an ideal location to bring all their friends and family together to celebrate at their wedding.

I love the laidback vibe these two have and I LOVE the fact that they totally trusted me during their session. I always ask clients for their input as I want to be mindful of any parameters they’d like me to work within. However, when I asked them, they said that they 100% trust me! I love it when clients say this and give you permission to do your thing! Sometimes when there are too many parameters, it can stifle creativity and the fact that these two recognized that and trusted me was so amazing! Therefore, when I asked them to stand in a bush for a photo or requested that we take portraits in front of the bathroom, they just went with it which was so awesome!
