I’ve saved this post for a snowy spring day to brighten my mood when I’m tired of winter weather. Last summer I spent a 12 hour day at Ohana Family Camp documenting what it is like to be a camper from breakfast time to roasting s’mores at night and everything in between. It was hands down my most exhausting job to date, carrying around equipment for 12 hours straight, but was also one of the best days I’ve spent working. During those twelve hours I was taken very good care of by the camp staff and at the end of the day I wish I could have been a camper there. It’s definitely a camp that should not be overlooked when planning your next family vacation. There’s lots to do and at the same time plenty of time to relax do your own thing.
