Sunflower Field

I’ve yet to find a sunflower field in Vermont so when we drove past this sunflower field in Virginia I had to pull over.  Chenoweth was willing to go with me to photograph the field but when we stepped into the field from the tall grass, we immediately sank to our ankles in mud.  I had to fish her flip flop out that was about a foot down, we laughed hysterically, washed off at the gas station and hit the road again.  It’s a good reminder that capturing the journey can be better than the destination.
