Heather and Nick, two avid skiers met at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and knew immediately that a winter wedding with a ski down the slopes in their wedding attire was exactly how they wanted to celebrate their union. The couple worked with the incredibly talented Birds of a Flower to create an elegant and romantic ski-themed space at The Woodstock Inn & Resort with florals and sophisticated Simon Pearce glassware. The Birds used an abundance of candles to light the ceremony and reception with glass blown bowls with tea candles hanging from the ceiling over tables. Also on the ceiling were locally harvested branches with soft lights transforming the space into a magical setting. The couple went with their favorite ski mountains as table cards to direct their guests to the correct table. Along with miniature maple syrup bottles, the couple had miniature skies made for each wedding guest waiting at their place setting. Everything came together to create such a magical setting for these two to celebrate with their closest friends and family.
