I seriously have the best clients. Clients who are laid back and don’t let a little rain dampen their wedding day. I’m so glad a mutual friend suggested that Kaitlin and Matt contact me for photography services when they got engaged. They are the kind of clients that I hope will turn into friends. During our initial meeting, they shared some advice that was given to them which in turn I have also shared with every one of my couples. It was too good not to share. And that is to pick three things that really matter to you on your wedding day, focus on those, and forget the rest. Wouldn’t you agree?
A few noteworthy details that made their day pretty special included Kaitlin pinning her grandmother’s wedding ring to her bouquet, Matt arriving at the ceremony in a canoe and the percussion frogs they asked their guests to use as a symbol of expression during the ceremony, which made for a beautiful sound.
Their affection for one another and the people they love are apparent. I could have photographed just them together all day, but we had a ceremony to get to. And yes, Matt entered the ceremony via canoe. So cool.
Congratulations Kaitlin & Matt, I wish you many years of love and happiness!
