Anya + Nic
August 15, 2015
Anya and Nic tied the knot this past August on a beautiful day along the Connecticut River that separates Vermont from New Hampshire. The couple grew up in Vermont and dreamed about a wedding that included their closest family and friends at a location that is near and dear to their hearts. Cedar Circle Organic Farm in Thetford, Vermont is both a place they call home and where the groom spends his days managing the grounds, so it felt only natural to hold their ceremony there.
Anya and Nic are two laid back individuals who like to have lots of fun and wanted to create an atmosphere where their guests could kickback and have a great time. The ladies were asked to select their own dresses within a hue range of pink and peach. The bouquets and flower decor were handpicked with love right from the farm’s u-pick flower gardens by the bride and her ladies. The groom made the arbor from maple saplings. The couple chose local maple syrup as a gift of appreciation to their guests. And, for the tiniest guests, the couple made sure to include a gift bag of items such as glow sticks, bubbles and temporary tattoos to keep them busy throughout the night. Farm to table catering was provided by the farm with on location roasted chicken, fresh heirloom caprese salad and honey wheat bread with maple butter made by the bride’s mother.
It was a night full of love for this couple that tied the knot in the heart of Vermont with friends and family dancing the night away.
