Lily and Jan wanted their wedding to be a weekend full of relaxing and fun with their dearest friends and family at Ohana Camp, on Lake Fairlee.  It’s kinda hard to not have a good time when the list of activities include yoga, frisbee golf, dancing and campfire. Their wedding day was chilly and rainy, as September can be in Vermont, but there were so many warm, loving hearts that I don’t think it phased anyone.  They simply moved the beautiful arbor that Lily’s father built along with all the benches to the porch of the camp lodge and had the ceremony on the porch.  Their ceremony incorporated some Greek traditions as well as some wonderful Greek dancing during the reception.  For Lily and Jan’s formal portraits Vanessa Riegler, the camp’s coordinator, took us in the camp’s van to the new, under-construction barn on the camp so we’d have a dry, more private place for photos.  Lily and Jan are such lovely and caring people and their love for one another abounds.   It was an honor to be a part of their day and I wish them many years of happiness.
